Factory One Future Campus
In January, we officially opened our new training and conference centre, Factory One – Future Campus, in Hösbach. Spanning around 300 m², the campus offers a modern setting for training sessions, meetings and client appointments. Two spacious meeting rooms, each equipped with a height-adjustable conference table, a projector, a screen and a blackboard, provide the ideal setting for presentations and creative collaboration.
Large windows with a view of our production under construction and a modern kitchen ensure a pleasant atmosphere and relaxed breaks.

Our project
The market clearly shows that the demand for solar modules “Made in Germany” is there – especially in Europe. Solar Fabrik is responding to this and will start construction of “Factory One” in Hösbach in May 2024. Whilst other manufacturers are scaling back their operations in Germany, we are investing several million euros – entirely without subsidies – specifically in the region, in quality and in sustainable, forward-looking technology.
The construction work has already been completed and all machine components are available in Hösbach. The infrastructure is also in place. In January 2026, the company was already able to open the Factory One Future Campus training and conference center at the site.
An annual capacity of 250 megawatts in three-shift operation is planned – flexibly scalable and tailored to market developments. Around 100 megawatts will be realized in the first year of production.State-of-the-art technologies will be used: production lines from Ecoprogetti (Italy), automation solutions from Grenzebach (Germany).
The production facility will create around 20 new jobs at the site. We are thus making a targeted investment in the region and sending a clear signal: photovoltaics from Germany has a future – and a market.

Outlook - The first step of many
Factory One is just the beginning: with an expansion area of over 14,000 m², we already have the opportunity to expand our capacities to 1 gigawatt in the future. Investments of around 25 million euros and over 300 new jobs are planned for the second construction phase.
Our goal: a flexible, efficient production network with as high a European share as possible.In future, over 50% of components are to come from European sources – for a sustainable, independent and crisis-proof supply chain.
