Factory One 2025 – The start of a new era of solar production

With the completion of construction work in May 2025, Factory One is now taking shape: The interior work has begun, the first machines have been delivered – and series production will start in autumn 2025.
An annual capacity of 250 megawatts in three-shift operation is planned – flexibly scalable and precisely tailored to market developments. Around 100 megawatts will be realized in the first year of production.State-of-the-art technologies will be used: production lines from Ecoprogetti (Italy), automation solutions from Grenzebach (Germany).
The production will create up to 15 new jobs at the site. Solar Fabrik is thus making a targeted investment in the region and sending a clear signal: photovoltaics from Germany has a future – and a market.

Outlook – The first step of many

Factory One is just the beginning: with an expansion area of over 14,000 m², we already have the opportunity to expand our capacities to 1 gigawatt in the future. Investments of around 25 million euros and over 300 new jobs are planned for the second construction phase.
Our goal: a flexible, high-performance production network with as high a European share as possible.In future, over 50% of components are to come from European sources – for a sustainable, independent and crisis-proof supply chain.
