The future begins in Hösbach
The starting signal was given in May 2024: with the construction of “Factory One” in Hösbach, we are getting serious and making “Made in Germany” a living reality. While other manufacturers are scaling back their sites in Germany, we are making targeted investments in the region, in quality and in sustainable future technology. The market clearly shows that the demand for solar modules “Made in Germany” is there – especially in Europe.
Factory One – Made in Germany
The construction of Factory One marks the beginning of a new era in solar production. The construction work is proceeding according to plan and the interior work on the training rooms has already been completed. The first machines are being positioned in production – another important step towards the start of production.
The start of our production in Factory One is scheduled for mid-2026. We are therefore deliberately focusing on production in Germany and short distances.
An annual capacity of 250 megawatts in three-shift operation is planned – flexibly scalable and tailored to market developments. Around 100 megawatts will be realized in the first year of production.State-of-the-art technologies will be used: production lines from Ecoprogetti (Italy), automation solutions from Grenzebach (Germany).
The production facility will create up to 15 new jobs at the site. This is a targeted investment in the region and sends a clear signal: photovoltaics from Germany has a future – and a market.

Outlook – The first step of many
Factory One is just the beginning: with an expansion area of over 14,000 m², we already have the opportunity to expand our capacities to 1 gigawatt in the future. Investments of around 25 million euros and over 300 new jobs are planned for the second construction phase.
Our goal: a flexible, efficient production network with as high a European share as possible.In future, over 50% of components are to come from European sources – for a sustainable, independent and crisis-proof supply chain.
