Residential PV fence
This project in collaboration with FENCE4SOLAR in Dortmund illustrates the potential of PV fences for sustainable energy generation. The efficient use of space increases self-consumption and significantly increases the degree of self-sufficiency, which reduces energy costs in the long term.
About the project
On this page we present one of our successful projects: the installation of a high-quality PV fence in Dortmund, realized by our partner FENCE4SOLAR. This innovative system shows how efficiently an otherwise unused wall surface can be integrated into a high-performance photovoltaic system. In addition to its high efficiency, the system also impresses with its elegant design, which blends harmoniously into the surroundings.
This project comprises two separate mounting areas, each carefully planned and optimally aligned to ensure maximum yield. The combination of the two installations results in a total output of 5.28 kWp, which was installed on a total generator area of 25 m². Thanks to the intelligent planning and positioning of the modules and the integration of a battery storage solution, a high level of self-consumption is achieved and curtailment at the feed-in point is completely avoided.
