Mono S4 BC Full Black – perfectly integrated

A high-performance photovoltaic system consisting of a total of 40 Mono S4 BC Full Black 475 W modules was installed on a historic natural slate roof with dormers. The system has a total output of approximately 19 kWp and, thanks to the combination of PV technology and a storage system, enables a self-sufficiency rate of about 85 percent.

About the project

Together with our partner Stefan Becker, we completed a unique photovoltaic project in Leun (Hesse) on a historic natural slate roof featuring several dormers. The complex roof geometry, varying roof orientations, and the need to integrate the system into the existing architecture presented unique challenges for both planning and implementation.

The project utilized 40 high-performance Mono S4 BC Full Black 475 W modules from Solar Fabrik, which stand out for their advanced cell technology

and blend seamlessly into the high-quality roof design with their elegant appearance. With a total capacity of approximately 19 kWp on the roof, the system makes efficient use of the available space and is expected to generate approximately 16.8 MWh of solar power annually.

Thanks to a combination of intelligent planning, high-performance PV technology, and a storage system, the facility achieves a high degree of self-sufficiency—around 85 percent—and enables an efficient and independent energy supply.
