Energy Campus of Lüdecke GmbH in Amberg

An impressive example of what forward-looking energy concepts look like today: Our partner EDV- und Elektrotechnik Hardy Barth GmbH has implemented one of the most modern energy solutions in Eastern Bavaria on an area of 4,500 m² – the equivalent of around 17 tennis courts.

About the project

The photovoltaic system, which is spread across two building complexes, achieves a total output of 937.9 kWp. On an area of almost 4,500 m², 2,501 Solar Fabrik modules generate environmentally friendly electricity. The innovative system configuration with east-west elevation and south-facing orientation integrated into the façade ensures optimum energy yield. The holistic energy concept is particularly impressive: a 506 kW combined heat and power plant, supplemented by an absorption chiller, ensures efficient heating and cooling for the entire company campus.

An intelligent control system with an energy monitoring and load management system continuously optimizes consumption. The underground connection of all buildings via power lines creates the perfect infrastructure for this pioneering project.
The result: annual CO₂ savings of 880 tons in total and a big step towards energy independence for Lüdecke GmbH. We are proud to be part of this impressive transformation with our modules!
